Not So Mundane Monday!

Here is another fabulous project that I wanted to feature. Again, it is not my original idea, nor can I take credit for the adaptation. This idea came from Ilina Crouse at ilinacrouse.blogspot.com
It is her tutorial, I am just posting the one that I made to show how beautiful it is. For more details on this project, hop on over to her site and look into her tutorials!
My colors are slightly different than the ones she used based on the materials that I had on hand.

Hope you enjoy, and as always, Happy Stamping!

OSW Friday!

I have made Friday OSW Friday! OSW stands for One Sheet Wonder...where you take one piece of patterened paper, follow a template, and create multiple cards with that one sheet. I will post a link to the template I found online (this was someone else's template), along with my instructions on my website. Here are a few photos of my project, more can be found on my website here!

Hope you enjoy, and always...

Mini Card Wednesday!

Here is another mini card wednesday!
These are super cute 3 x 3 cards that have a little pocket on the inside to hold a tea bag or a Ghirardelli chocolate square. I will post a tutorial on my website by the end of the week.
Enjoy, and as always, Happy Stamping!

Technique Tuesday!

This week we will discuss “MASKING” an image. To begin, simply stamp your image twice: once on cardstock and once on a piece of scrap paper. Cut out the image on the scrap paper. Next, place the cutout image over the image you stamped on the cardstock and stamp another image over your mask. Repeat masking as desired. Finally, remove the mask and finish your project.

Not So Mundane Monday!

I promised an excellent post today to make up for my lack of posting. This was NOT my idea, nor my own representation of a project that I saw somewhere. This idea came from Ilina Crouse at ilinacrouse.blogspot.com/
It is her tutorial, I am just posting the one that I made to show how beautiful it is. For more details on this project, hop on over to her site and look into her tutorials.                        http://ilinacrouse.blogspot.com/2009/08/flight-of-butterfly-suitcase-and-cards.html
My colors are slightly different than the ones she used based on the product that I had on hand.

Mini Card Wednesday

I know it's late, but here it is, the first Mini Card Wednesday! Anyone who has been a long time Stampin’ Up! Customer will remember the Fresh Cut notes and stamp set that were retired last year =( Well, my inspiration for these cute little notes came from that set. Now I know it is unavailable, but you could make these work with just about any background stamp and greeting of your choice. My colors are Wisteria Wonder, Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, and Very Vanilla. On some of the notes, I used ½ of a Stampin’ dimensional to attach the punched butterfly to the center of the card. Right now during sale-a-bration, you can get a pack of 2012-2013 In Color cardstock (among other great items) FREE with a $50 purchase. Check out my website or call me today for more information!

Technique Tuesday!

Tuesdays will no longer be filled with tips, it is now the day of the week that I will showcase a technique of the week. This week we will create a “FAUX LINEN” look with a stamped image! To begin, rub a sanding block or sandpaper over a piece of glossy white cardstock, from top to bottom and then side to side. Next, ink a sponge or sponge dauber, and rub the ink over the sanded surface to create the linen look. Finally, stamp your image!
* TIP: You can also stamp a background image on the cardstock before sanding.*
Hope you enjoy. Happy Stamping!

Not So Mundane Monday!

This project was challenging. It was a lot of fun to create however. It is a mini magazine holder with 8 matching cards. I will list the tutorial on my website by the end of the week. The original idea was not mine, but I cannot remember where I saw the idea. Hope you enjoy, and thank you to whoever posted the original idea!

Been away for a while...again!

Afternoon bloggers! Sorry I have been away for a while. I had a death in the family and had to go out of town at the beginning of January, and then the rest of the month was absolutely crazy trying to catch up at work and at home. I am back, and starting tomorrow, there will be daily blog posts and updates to my website as well. Hope you will enjoy the new, and upcoming projects as well as some upcoming exciting changes to Stampin' Up!
Have a great day and as always,
Happy Stamping!!!
