Technique Tuesday

Here we go with this week’s technique. We are going to create a “SPOTLIGHT” image. To begin, stamp your image on two pieces of cardstock. Set one aside to serve as the background for your spotlighted image. Next, on your other image, color the area you wish to highlight. Punch out that part of the image. Finally, line up your punched, colored image with the separate stamped image and adhere. Complete your project as desired.

Technique Tuesday!

This week we will create a “FAUX SUEDE” look. First you will need to sponge ink over your cardstock; this technique will work better if you apply a generous amount of ink. Once you have sponged the cardstock, sand it repeatedly until you have achieved the look desired

See the soft fuzzy look. Looks and feels like suede! Try it for yourself!!!

Not So Mundane Monday

This week I have a card that I made using the Reason to Smile set. Did you get your set for just $5 last month? I hope so…I saw a card like this on stampin’ connection and it gave me inspiration to make this one.
Enjoy!
