Happy New Year!

Hello Stampers!
As 2013 comes to it's end and 2014 lies on the horizon, I am taking time to reflect on the last year. The things I have gained as well as the things I have lost including loved ones. I do not have a card creation to share with you today but rather some exciting new things taking place here on my blog in 2014, a photo of the welcome packet that my 2014 club members will receive, and best wishes in the coming year!

So here goes....
  • I have decided to implement a Rewards program for all of my customers, returning and new. Check it out under the Stampin' Rewards tab at the top of the page.
  • Second, I am going to post a monthly hostess code to the blog on the first of every month. When placing an order in my online store, be sure to use this code and I will enter your name in a drawing for a monthly "Mystery Hostess" where you will win the Hostess Rewards for the monthly orders!
  • I will also be including the monthly Hostess Code in my newsletter. If you would like to receive my newsletter, you can sign up here. Choose your interest in the drop down box.
  • I have started a facebook page as a way to expand my viewing audience. "Like" my page here
  • Finally, if you are a member of my local monthly Stamp Club or if you'd like to be a part of my Long Distance Stamp Club (see the clubs tab at the top of the page), you will receive one of these on the first club date or with your first order!

There is a little Thank You! card, a wishlist folder, a little treat holder, and a Stampin' Rewards punch card. For my local club members, the punch card will replace the rewards tracking sheet. I found the instructions for the little treat holder here

All the best to you and your families in the coming year and I hope you continue to choose me as your Stampin' Up! demonstrator and my blog as one of your places for inspiration.

Take care and Happy Stamping!!

Nacho Love!

Good Morning! I have a super fun post for you this morning! I created this card for the most recent round of Nacho Average Challenges!

Here is the challenge sketch...

And here is what I created! My card was centered around Valentine's Day again, but this time I added a little sparkle!
I used whisper white and melon mambo cardstock, silver glimmer paper, and brights collection DSP in melon mambo. I added punched hearts using the full and small heart punches. My sentiment and banners came from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and Itty Bitty Banners framelits. I added a rhinestone for a little extra bling.

This will be the first official card kit for sale on my blog! Check it out under the Card Kits tab at the top of the page.

Happy Stamping!

Monochromatic Mojo!

I created this card for the most recent round of Mojo Monday!

This is the super fun and simple sketch that was given as the challenge this week!

Now that Christmas is over, my focus has shifted toward Valentine's Day! I created a monochromatic red and white card. It's not very clear in the picture, but i added a Stampin' Dimensional to pop up the heart on top.

I used Real Red and Whisper White card stock. Polka Dot Parade DSP in Real Red. I dyed Whisper White baker's twine with Real Red ink. I used the full heart and small heart punches and topped it off with a couple rhinestones!

Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

Christmas Card Box

This is another project inspired by one on Stampin’ Connection. It is a little gift box that has 4 cards and envelopes in it with some room to spare. A link to a video tutorial can be found here.

Here is a view of the box front. I used Cheery Cobbler, Chocolate Chip,
Baked Brown Sugar, and Whisper White card stock. The DSP used is Season of Style.

Here is a top view showing the room that is left.

There are 4 identical cards. Same colors as listed above, but you can see I added Cherry Cobbler bakers twine and a mosaic pop and place gift tag. The scallop circle is 2 3/4" scallop punch and the circle is 1 3/4" circle punch.

Here is a view of the box with one card side by side.

Enjoy, happy stamping, and have a very Merry Christmas with you family and friends!

Freshly Made

Good Morning all! Quick post this today of I card I created for the Freshly Made Challenge # 117 using colors from the colourQ chellenge #220. Hope you enjoy!!

I used Whisper white for the card base and layer. Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Baked Brown Sugar, and Silver Glimmer Paper are the colors I used for the banners. I added a 1/4" strip of Summer Starfruit to the top of the banners with a strip of pearls to accent it.

A quick tip for adhereing cardstock to the glimmer paper.
It won't stick with regular glue, so use sticky strip. It will hold much better!

Here is a closeup of the banners.

Christmas Stationary Folder

This project was inspired by a similar one that I saw on Stampin’ Connection. A demonstrator only website where ideas are shared between demonstrators. It is made using one sheet of 12 x 12 DSP. It holds 4 cards and 4 envelopes.  A link to a video tutorial can be found here

So here is a super cute folder that has two pockets inside. I made the folder using a sheet of DSP from the Season of Style collection featured in the 2013 Holiday catalog. The accents were made with Apothecary Accents Framelits and stitched Gumball Green Ribbon.

Inside there are 2 cards and 2 envelopes in each pocket. How sweet is this!

Here are the four cards together. Again, I used the same supplies listed above plus Crumb Cake, Baked Brown Sugar, and Whisper White card stock.

Wouldn't this make a super simple, super sweet gift to give to someone?

Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

Mosaic Thanks!

I know this is not a Christmas card, but I wanted to share it with you. It is one I made a while ago, but just thought it looked cheery. I created this card using Mosaic Madness and Banner Greetings along with the new In Color collection and the Bitty Butterfly punch.

Hope you enjoy!

Merry Monday

Every year for my last stamp club, I invite all of my club ladies over for Christmas Card making. They bring whatever they’d like, and they have access to all of my supplies as well and they just make whatever they want. We always have a lot of fun! This year I had a couple of ladies who are pretty new to stamping so I made some simple examples for them to follow. I created a plain card with four different colors using some retired supplies. This card is a CASE from one I saw online.

Here is the plain card in one of the colors I chose to use.

Then I took the same colors and created another set of the cards, but this time I stepped them up a bit by adding some rhinestones to the card.

These are the four stepped up cards. It's hard to tell, but there are rhinestones in the swirls of the reindeer antlers. I used Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Rich Razzelberry. The accents used were the old 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and the retired ticket corner punch.

Hope you enjoy and Happy Stamping!
